Kate Kendell, The Executive Director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, will be giving a talk at The La Selva Beach Community Church during their Open and Affirming worship service, along with special guests from The Diversity Center of Santa Cruz County. This event is free and open to the public.
Kate Kendell is an attorney and social justice advocate who worked closely with Ted Olson and David Boies in the Supreme Court case overturning Prop 8, and has an active voice in major media including NPR, The New York Times, and CNN.
In her compelling and informative style, Kate will discuss the current climate in our nation regarding social justice issues pertaining to the LGBTQ community.
