Kathy Cusson of The Western Stage will speak about the 2017 Season of upcoming shows during the September 13th Double Nickels Luncheon for those 55 and Up. The luncheon begins at 12 noon at Church of the Good Shepherd, 301 Corral De Tierra Rd, off Hwy 68, between Monterey and Salinas.
The Western Stage, a highly respected community-based theater at Hartnell College, successfully draws the audiences into the Central Coast's culture of inclusion through humor, music and a touch of the preposterous fit between art and life. Each of this season's presentations, from In The Heights (by the composer of "Hamilton") to The Boondawgle Estate and Young Frankenstein, will delight! To view this season's offerings, please visit https://westernstage.com/season2017/.
Cusson is a native of Salinas where she graduated from Salinas High School. At Hartnell she discovered The Western Stage and, as a classically trained opera singer, she attended Sacramento State, majoring in Music. Since returning to Salinas, she began a new career with The Western Stage and is currently the Public Relations and Marketing Manager.
Double Nickels, a monthly luncheon, is a service of Good Shepherd and Episcopal Senior Communities for the benefit of the 55 and Up community. A suggested donation is $5, but is not required.
