The Watsonville Wetlands Watch will host its 5th Annual Native Plant Sale on Saturday, October 7th.
The sale will be from 8:30am-1:00pm at the Fitz Wetland Educational Resource Center at the top of Pajaro Valley High School in Watsonville, featuring over 60 varieties of native plants.
Guests will also be able to tour a display of local native plants and learn how to utilize them to create beautiful drought resistant gardens and landscapes. In addition, community members will be able to interact with live snakes, turtles and newts and there will be educational games for children.
The Watsonville Wetlands Watch is committed to the protection, restoration and appreciation of the sloughs of the Pajaro Valley and hopes that the public will enjoy this opportunity to bring some of that home with them.
