KAZU’s Media Sponsorship program strives to provide a voice for diverse, thought-provoking ideas, people and experiences within our community. By providing in-kind media sponsorship to local organizations and events, KAZU exposes listeners to a variety of cultural, artistic and community experiences throughout the Monterey Bay Area that entertain, promote discourse and increase participation in our community.

Art Council of Santa Cruz County – Ebb & Flow Event

90.3 KAZU is a proud media sponsor of "Ebb and Flow River Arts Celebration"     - two days dedicated to art and community along the San Lorenzo River in downtown Santa Cruz – June 2nd and 3rd - featuring a Kinetic Art Parade along the River Walk, Riverwalk Art Sculptures, dance and music performances, art-making, a night walk, kids activities and more. Kuumbwa Jazz presents Jean-Luc Ponty
90.3 KAZU is proud to co-sponsor Kuumbwa Jazz presenting undisputed pioneer of the electric violin in modern jazz and rock, Jean-Luc Ponty. Originally trained as a classical musician, Ponty caught the “jazz bug” in college and never looked back. His successful appearance at the 1967 Monterey Jazz Festival led to recordings with Gerald Wilson and George Duke. It was Frank Zappa who wrote the music for Ponty's 1969 recording King Kong, giving the violinist greater exposure to young audiences. 80th Annual Carmel Bach Festival
90.3 KAZU is a proud media sponsor of The 80th Annual Carmel Bach Festival, July 15th - July 29th, throughout Carmel, Monterey, and Pebble Beach. Featuring celebrity chefs and international bestselling food writers Nancy Silverton, Ruth Reichl and Evan Kleiman. Join us Wednesday evening, May 17th, at Sunset Center in Carmel, for this foodie event benefiting the Carmel Public Library. Book signing and reception featuring wine tasting at 7pm. Program at 8pm. 3rd Annual Language Capital of the World Cultural Festival
90.3 KAZU is a proud media sponsor of the the 3rd Annual Language Capital Of The World Cultural Festival, Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at Custom House Plaza in Monterey. KAZU, along with many other local organizations, are teaming up with the city of Monterey to bring this world class festival to the heart of downtown. Celebrate the rich international culture of the Central Coast with music, flags, international crafts and food, dancers from many diverse cultures, and a whole array of exhibitions. The festival will begin Sunday morning with an international procession down Alvarado street with flags flying and music playing at 10:30AM, followed by great entertainment and festival excitement.
