KAZU’s Media Sponsorship program strives to provide a voice for diverse, thought-provoking ideas, people and experiences within our community. By providing in-kind media sponsorship to local organizations and events, KAZU exposes listeners to a variety of cultural, artistic and community experiences throughout the Monterey Bay Area that entertain, promote discourse and increase participation in our community.

KAZU is proud to co-sponsor Kuumbwa Jazz presenting the internationally acclaimed South African a capella group, “Ladysmith Black Mambazo” —With more than 30 albums including their grammy-nominated 2016 release, “Walking in the Footsteps of Our Fathers,”  Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s nine-member ensemble will perform Sunday, January 22nd at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz –  Tickets at Kuumbwa Jazz dot org.

KAZU is proud to co-sponsor Kuumbwa Jazz,  presenting Sweet Honey in the Rock:  Celebrating the Holy-days.  This internationally acclaimed a capella ensemble continue to educate, entertain and empower audiences... Sweet Honey in the Rock will perform locally on Tuesday, December 20th at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz - show time is 7:30 PM.  Tickets at kuumbwajazz.org.

TWDCC is proud to once again to present Winter Dance Fest 2017; built upon offering Santa Cruz audiences the best and the brightest of the contemporary dance world from Santa Cruz, the Bay Area, and beyond! For an ENCORE performance we bring the remarkable, dawsondancesf, to the Colligan Theater stage once again. After an tour de force, sold out show last February, TWDCC is thrilled to offer dawsondancesf's Santa Cruz premier of les verites. Opening the show will be breaking boundries, Santa Cruz dancer and choreographer, Molly Katzman and Co. Performances will feature music from Composer/Arranger Ron Kurti
