The KAZU Movie Club meets at the Lighthouse 4 Cinemas in downtown Pacific Grove on the THIRD Thursday evening of each month at 7 p.m. for a special screening of a documentary or independent new release movie.
All KAZU donors who contribute at least $84 annually or $7/month to KAZU (and who have not opted out of emails from KAZU) will receive email invitations to Movie Club events.
Movie Club members receive notification of when and what movie will be shown by email about four days before each show, when the Lighthouse lets us know what they have permission to screen. The email will link to the event registration form, which must be completed in order to attend. Your invitation is non-transferable.
Seating is first come, first serve and we cannot guarantee that anyone who does not register for the movie, or who arrives late, will get a seat. Lighthouse 4 Cinemas can only offer 200 seats for these free movie shows, and we close registration for each Movie Club event when we have that number of people registered.
Please note that film screenings are usually on the third Thursday of the month and that seating is first come, first serve. Seating will begin at 6:30 PM, and the movie will start at 7:00 PM unless otherwise indicated in your email invitation.
