Monterey, CA – It's been just over a year since an E. coli outbreak in fresh spinach killed 3 people and sickened 200. Now it feels like d j vu as E. coli was found in fresh leafy greens from another company with routes in Salinas Valley. No one has taken ill. Dole yesterday recalled 5 thousand cases of bagged fresh lettuce.. Ben Adler with KXJZ in Sacramento covered this story for KAZU last year and continues to follow it. He gives KAZU's Rachael McDonald some details.
