Monterey, CA – The Monterey County Herald is in limbo now that its corporate owner Knight Ridder no longer exists. The sale of the Herald and Knight Ridder's 31 other papers to the Sacramento-based McClatchy Company officially went through today after the stock market closed. But the re-sale of the Herald and three other papers to Denver-based MediaNews is on hold, pending a Justice Department anti-trust investigation. KAZU's Ben Adler reports.
