Lindley: TAMC sales tax measure would help county roads

Salinas, CA – The Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC) will ask voters to approve a half-cent sales tax at the June 2006 primary election. TAMC says it's part of a 14-year strategic plan for what it calls "important safety and congestion relief projects."
