Salinas libraries to stay open: Measure V passes
Salinas, CA – After a year of uncertainty (and negative national publicity), the city of Salinas will keep its public libraries open. About 60 percent of voters on Nov. 8 approved Measure V, a half-cent sales tax that will fund city services including libraries, police and fire.
Salinas Mayor Anna Caballero led the Yes on V campaign. She talked with KAZU's Ben Adler at the Yes on V election night party.
