Santa Cruz, CA – For the last 25 years, Shakespeare has spent his summers in Santa Cruz. The quirky, outdoor Shakespeare Santa Cruz theater festival, held in the redwood forests on the UCSC campus, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year; its performances run every day of the week except Monday, through September 3rd. KAZU's Ben Adler speaks with Shakespeare Santa Cruz artistic director Paul Whitworth, a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
There's date and ticket information on this summer's shows at www.ShakespeareSantaCruz.org.
Note: The Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County and the Hawley Family Fund, major financial supporters of Shakespeare Santa Cruz, also provide financial support to KAZU.
