San Francisco, CA – There will be no federal criminal charges filed in relation to last fall's big E. coli outbreak in spinach. Early last October, FBI and Food and Drug Administration agents had searched two Salinas-area companies, Natural Selection Foods and Growers Express, and several spinach fields in three local counties.
