The governor first proposed what he calls his Strategic Growth Plan at his State of the State address in January.
Sacramento, CA – After several news reports and three audits suggesting the University of California system abused its own pay rules, several state lawmakers called Wednesday for the resignation of UC President Robert Dynes. The reports and audits show UC administrators gave senior officials millions of dollars of bonuses and perks. Salinas, CA – More than 10-thousand people marched through the streets of Salinas Monday, rallying for immigration reform in the city's biggest organized march since the days of Cesar Chavez. The march emptied the fields, closed businesses and made East Salinas look like a neighborhood celebrating a major holiday. KAZU's Ben Adler reports.
