The investigation into who leaked the name of CIA officer Valerie Plame has already led to the indictment of Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, Scooter Libby, and could bring more indictments in the coming weeks. Plame's husband, former ambassador Joseph Wilson, says the Bush Administration leaked her name as retribution for an op-ed piece Wilson wrote in The New York Times rebutting one of the administration's arguments for the war in Iraq.
Salinas, CA – The Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC) will ask voters to approve a half-cent sales tax at the June 2006 primary election. TAMC says it's part of a 14-year strategic plan for what it calls "important safety and congestion relief projects."
