KAZU is proud to sponsor Kuumbwa Jazz – presenting the “Miles Electric Band” in Santa Cruz. The Miles Electric Band revisits and renews the music of Davis’ “Electric Years.” Featuring trumpeter Christian Scott, along with other noteworthy musicians, The Miles Electric Band is an homage to that time and that music. February 28th at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz (formerly at the Rio Theater. All tickets purchased for their Rio performance will be honored). Tickets at kuumbwajazz.org

Second Harvest Food Bank presents “Sip for Second Harvest.” A benefit event, “Sip for Second Harvest” features local wines, delicious appetizers and stimulating conversation. All proceeds will go to support Second Harvest Food Bank’s efforts to end hunger and malnutrition in Santa Cruz County. This event takes place Sunday afternoon, February 25th at Seascape Golf Club in Aptos. Advanced reservations required. Information and tickets available at thefoodbank.org

This holiday season, all are invited to participate in their annual “Sing-A-Long Messiah” – a holiday tradition shared by families and friends. Cabrillo’s Chancel chorus will lead the Sing-A-Long on Tuesday December 19th at Peace United Church of Christ in Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz Ballet Theatre presents the classic Christmas story, "The Nutcracker." 

This production includes more than 70 dancers in sumptuous costumes and beautiful scenery with music performed by a full, professional orchestra. Choreographed by Robert Kelley. Orchestra conducted by Pamela Martin. All performances at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium. Gather the family for this beautiful holiday production.

KAZU is a proud media sponsor of the Cabrillo Symphonic Chorus - Presenting a series of Holiday Concerts. On December 9th and 10th, "Cantiamo Cabrillo" will perform "Concerts for  Winter's Eve" with a Saturday evening show at 8:00 at Carmel Mission Basilica, followed by a Santa Cruz Performance at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz.
