Festival Date: June 17, 2017. KAZU is proud to be a media sponsor of "The Garden Faire" at Skypark in Scotts Valley –  a free, family friendly event showcasing organic and sustainable gardening and healthy living concepts. Event Date: June 5, 2017. 90.3 KAZU is proud to co-sponsor Kuumbwa Jazz presenting undisputed pioneer of the electric violin in modern jazz and rock, Jean-Luc Ponty. Originally trained as a classical musician, Ponty caught the “jazz bug” in college and never looked back. His successful appearance at the 1967 Monterey Jazz Festival led to recordings with Gerald Wilson and George Duke. It was Frank Zappa who wrote the music for Ponty's 1969 recording King Kong, giving the violinist greater exposure to young audiences.

Celebrate the rich international culture of the Central Coast with music, flags, international crafts and food, dancers from many diverse cultures, and a whole array of exhibitions.
